Lord Scale's New Year's Ball

Another year has come and gone, and the mysterious Lord Scale is holding his traditional New Year’s Ball. Important nobles from the Great Houses have been invited, as well several powerful figures from distant lands. These folks gather to enjoy themselves with an evening of luxury, social maneuvering, amazing spectacle. The conversations on the dance floor can forge alliances or enemies that impact the fates of those involved, for better or worse. This is a night where destiny is up for grabs, and choices will leave their mark upon your story.

This year, the leader of the Orange Sky Runners, a skilled group of thieves, has cheated her way into an invitation, hoping to steal a powerful artifact from within the Lord’s manor. Each of the folks coming along with her to the Ball (willing or otherwise) has their own reasons to be there, and their own plans for the artifact she is looking for.

A game thrown together for The Last RPG Jam. The idea of the jam was to be a nice chill experience, but I didn't find out about it until half way through the month and couldn't muster the motivation to make this until five days before the deadline. Even then, I'm proud of how this turned out, and I'll be going back and refining and improving this (especially visually, but I'd like to add another character, more NPCs, and balance out the rules with some testing).
