Crossmas at the Space Mall

The most wonderful time of the year - the retail nightmare of last minute shopping. That's okay, though, with a bit of luck things won't go too wild...

Crossmas at the Space Mall is about celebrating the powerful holiday of Xmas as the Deep Space Deities intended it (you know, with capitalism). Okay, maybe it's about being the poor workers at the Space Mall trying to achieve something they can be excited about even as aliens get their last minute shopping done, the powerful systems driving the mall malfunction, and the weirdos from a distant star system bumble around.

All you need is:

1. this booklet
2. a six sided die (d6)
3. some tokens
4. friends to play with (or a notebook, if playing solo)

It's the holidays, so grab yourself a copy and have some goofy sci-fi fun.

Heavily influenced by the brilliant pamphlet/single page games of Mundos Infinitos as well as the very fun Fiasco. Other notable influences are Mall Rats, Empire Records, and especially the space mall episode from Voltron.

This was created for the Gregarious Goblin Gift Exchange. I'd been floating around the idea for a while, and this got me to finally put my ideas down. I'd been excited about making and playing this one for a while - hopefully other folks will have a fun holiday time with it as well.
